I have melded Jung’s archetypes and energy work with modern Celtic Paganism. Celtic paganism is an earth-bound belief system that works in harmony with the earth and her cycles and energies. The cycle of the earth mirrors our own journey through life. Jung studied many societies and discovered that they all shared symbols and Archetypes as part of the Collective Unconscious. Archetypes are personified symbols that are very familiar to us all. They are often in the form of Goddesses and Gods. They have different names within different cultures.

In the Celtic calendar there are eight sections in the year. Four of which are the fire festivals of Samhain, Imbolc, Beltane and Lunasa and they each possess different energies and goddess archetypes.

Samhain, (Christianised to Hallowe’en) the first fire festival is the Celtic new year. The darkest time of the year (all living things are conceived in darkness) The Goddess archetype is the Crone (The unshackled female energy) The old woman. I choose to call her by her Welsh name Ceridwen. (Christianised as the Witch). Come and get in touch with her and see what we can learn. (Bring 2 coins) Just let me know if
you’re coming.
