I was hoping to get back to England last week to see everyone, start teaching at Bromley Community College with my lovely friend Laura and to set to work furnishing my cabin. I was hoping to seeing my supervisees face to face, and begin the new Diploma in Supervision. I looked forward to presenting the Diplomas (congratulations everyone) and completing the second half of the Certificate in Group Supervision. But, here we go again, the virus has raised it’s ugly head and I find myself stuck once again at Bally P. I suppose Bally P is an okay place to be stuck in and I can always go to the cottage at Portmuck. I’ve plenty to do here in terms of planning and writing, it’s just that something is getting in the way of my plans, stopping me doing what I want to do. I know I have a choice, we always have, and I think if I was younger I would have taken the chance, but at this point I have chosen not to come. So in the meantime I will attempt to content myself by running up and down the garden or jumping up and down.
I’m sending out details of the new Diploma in Supervision to those who are interested and I have heard back from one group on the Certificate in Group Supervision who will be first on the list when I can get over. Regarding the presentations for the Diploma in Supervision, we will have to wait until I get back and that will be as soon as possible. If you need a letter saying that you have passed I am very happy to do that, just email me.
I’ll be writing this blog every Monday to keep you up to date.
